Veterinarians

Jennifer Rockwell, DVM

Dr. Rockwell graduated from The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. After graduating, she performed an internship at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery. She practiced small animal medicine in Montana for seven years before joining our practice. She enjoys gardening, spending time at the beach with her husband and son, and caring for their three cats.

Lorraine Gervais, DVM

Dr. Gervais graduated from Ross University in St. Kitts, West Indies 2001, and she completed her ECFVG (Educational Committee for foreign Vet Graduates) in 2002 at Oklahoma State University. She enjoys all aspects of soft tissue and orthopedic surgery and client communication and education. In her free time, Dr. Gervais enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, boating, reading, and crafting. She shares her home with her two dogs, two cats, and several saltwater fish tanks.

Isabel Johnson-Bann, DVM

I graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed my clinical year at North Carolina State University in 2024. I have interest in Surgery, Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine and Integrative Medicine such as acupuncture, laser therapy, herbal medicine etc. In my free time, I enjoy exploring outdoors, playing soccer, painting, gardening, playing violin and hanging out with my two cats.

Leila Bushovisky, DVM

Dr. Leila Bushovisky graduated from Ross University and completed her clinical year at Purdue University in Indiana as of June 2025. She has interests in soft tissue surgery and preventative medicine. In Leila’s free time she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dog Kya, kayaking, scuba diving, and hanging out at home with her two cats Ikki and Appa.

Trent Hewett, DVM

Dr. Hewett graduated with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University in 2025. Dr. Hewett is Fear Free Certified and enjoys creating calm, stress-free experiences for all of his feline patients. In addition, Dr. Hewett has a special interest in geriatric and palliative care medicine, focusing on improving quality of life for senior cats through thoughtful, individualized care. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hewett enjoys exploring the outdoors, spending quality time with his two cats, playing the piano, and traveling with his partner!
